Hello, welcome to my website demonstrating my Emerging Media Practice Assignment for 2023. My project is based on the life of my grandmother, who has an incredibly interesting life story that I wanted to depict for my project. Due to the sensitive nature of the subject involved, my Nana has declined talking to anyone in our family about her backstory, with even my own mother only learning recently.

For the purpose of this project, I have depicted aspects of my Nana's life through AI generated images based on prompts relating to her life, which I ultimately intend to combine into a collage piece. Here I will present each picture individually before giving a brief explanation of the meaning of each image and the prompts given to the AI image generator Midjourney to succeed in this.
